LANSING, May 4, 2006 – Ruthanne Marks of Lapeer is $10,000 richer after scratching a winning Bonus Millions Instant ticket.

Marks, who said she was in disbelief when she scratched her winning ticket, plans to use the money to help her kids and pay some bills.

The lucky ticket was purchased at HB Management 5, 1489 N. Main St., in Lapeer.

Bonus Millions is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
