LANSING, April 25, 2006 – A very lucky player won $35,000 when he scratched a winning Word Bank Instant ticket.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Genesee Mini-Mart, 6009 N. Genesee Rd., in Flint.

Word Bank is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
