LANSING, March 28, 2006 – A lucky Sterling Heights man matched eight numbers in the 8-spot Club Keno game to win a whopping $10,000!

The winner was in disbelief when all eight of his numbers were picked.  He plans to pay bills with his easy pick winnings.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at MacKenzie Tavern, 40860 Van Dyke, in Sterling Heights.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
