LANSING, April 25, 2003 – A lucky Dowling man is rolling in dough after matching all five numbers in the April 21 Michigan Rolldown drawing to win a $13,325 prize!  That day’s winning numbers were: 10, 15, 18, 27 and 31.

In total for the April 21 drawing, 14,280 winners shared $45,940 in prizes.  In addition to the sole jackpot winner, 57 winners matched four numbers to win a $95 prize; 1,442 winners matched three numbers to win a $10 prize; and 12,780 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.

The 62-year-old winner, who requested anonymity, purchased the winning “easy pick” ticket at Felpausch #290, 127 S. Michigan Ave., in Hastings.

“I saw the winning numbers while watching television,” said the winner.  “I couldn’t believe it! I was so shocked to have a winning ticket that I double-checked the winning numbers on the Michigan Lottery’s Web site (www.michigan.gov/lottery).”

Prior to turning the winning ticket in at the Lottery’s regional office in Lansing, the winner said he kept it in his wallet at all times to ensure its safety.  The lucky man said he currently has no special plans for his winnings.

The first Michigan Rolldown drawing was held on February 28, 2000.  Drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m.  The cost to play is $1.00 per wager.  Tickets are available at more than 7,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
