LANSING, March 31, 2003 – Mary Bell of Detroit has some "March Madness" of her own happening thanks to the Michigan Lottery!  She recently went wild with excitement after scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Sports Spectacular" instant game ticket to reveal a $10,000 prize!

Bell purchased the winning ticket at Davis Cut Rate Drugs, 14039 W. McNichols Road, in Detroit.

The lucky 54-year-old winner said she was in a state of disbelief when she looked at the ticket and realized she had won a $10,000 prize!

"I picked up an instant ticket while at the local drug store," said Bell.  "I scratched off the ticket while still in the store and was shocked to discover I had a winner!"

Bell, a retiree, said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills.

"Sports Spectacular" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
