LANSING, February 24, 2003 – Charlene Willier of Jackson recently struck gold upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Gold Fever" instant game ticket to reveal a $35,000 top prize!

The lucky winner purchased the winning ticket at Wesco #12, 4101 Lansing Ave., in Jackson.

Willier said she was sitting in her car when she scratched off the ticket and realized she had won a top prize.

"I was shaking with excitement and was in complete disbelief," Willier said.  "I went back into the store where I purchased the ticket and had a clerk double check it for me.  I then drove straight to the Lottery
