“I checked the winning numbers while reading the newspaper and was stunned to learn I had matched five of six numbers!” exclaimed the 41-year-old winner. “I didn’t believe it! So, I double-checked the winning numbers on the Michigan Lottery’s Web site (www.michigan.gov/lottery). I was so shocked to win that I was numb!”
The winner, who said he enjoys spending his free time traveling and watching hockey and soccer, added that he kept the winning ticket in his wallet to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights. The lucky man said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
