LANSING, January 21, 2003 – Joseph Borek of Newaygo went wild with excitement after scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Wild Wild Time" instant ticket to reveal a $30,000 top prize!
Borek, 63, purchased the winning ticket at Kent City Mobil Mart, 345 S. Main St., in Kent City.
"I started scratching off the ticket in the store," said Borek. "Once I saw that I had won a top prize, I was so happy that I started shaking!"
The lucky winner told Lottery officials that he currently does not have any special plans for his winnings other than "just to enjoy them."
"Wild Wild Time" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
