LANSING, December 18, 2002 – Phyllis Plotzka of Harper Woods is carrying around a lot more pocket change after recently scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Pinball Action" instant ticket to reveal a $35,000 top prize!

Plotzka, 72, purchased the winning ticket at Harper Deli, 20408 Harper Ave., in Harper Woods.

"After I scratched off the ticket, I could not believe what I was seeing," exclaimed the lucky lady. "I was shocked, but extremely happy that I won a top prize!"

Plotzka, a retiree who enjoys reading and spending time with her family, told Lottery officials that she kept the winning ticket in her purse at all times to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery
