LANSING, November 15, 2002 – William Paul of Lincoln Park recently experienced a bit of Lottery luck upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Lucky Lines" instant ticket to reveal a $250,000 top prize!

Paul purchased the winning ticket at Speedy Mart Enterprises, 3860 Dix Hwy., in Lincoln Park.

"After I scratched off the ticket and realized I had won a top prize, I had my wife, Michelle, and our daughter double-check the ticket," said the happy winner. "When it finally sank in that I had won, I started screaming and jumping for joy!"

Paul, 30, kept the ticket locked in a safe prior to turning it in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing. The lucky winner said he plans to use his winnings to take a vacation with his family.

He offered the following words of encouragement to other Lottery hopefuls: "Follow the feeling. If you feel lucky, you should buy a ticket!"
