LANSING, November 8, 2002 – – William Dingwell of Flint said he was thrilled when he recently scratched off a Michigan Lottery "Super 6s" instant game ticket to reveal a $6,000 top prize!

Dingwell, a 56-year-old General Motors retiree, purchased the winning ticket at Three Sevens Party Store, G-1229 N. Ballenger Hwy., in Flint.

"When I realized I had won the top prize, I was shocked," said the lucky winner. "I was so happy to win that I just couldn’t believe it!"

Dingwell, who enjoys fishing and hunting in his spare time, said he kept the winning ticket locked in a safe prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Bridgeport. He told Lottery officials that he plans to use his winnings to buy Christmas gifts for his nine grandchildren.

"Super 6s" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
