Jack Bradley of Midland Takes Home $14,602 Michigan Rolldown Jackpot Prize!

LANSING, September 30, 2002 – Jack Bradley of Midland is a little richer after matching all five numbers in the September 25 Michigan Rolldown drawing to win a $14,602 prize! That day’s winning numbers were: 1, 5, 12, 18 and 23.

In total for the September 25 drawing, 16,827 winners shared $50,020 in prizes. In addition to the sole jackpot winner, 77 winners matched four numbers to win a $77 prize; 1,820 winners matched three numbers to win an $8 prize; and 14,929 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.

The 65-year-old winner purchased the winning ticket at Auburn IGA, 985 W. Midland Road, in Auburn.

The lucky man, who retired from Bay City Public Schools, said he discovered he had won while watching the morning news the day after he purchased the ticket. Bradley chose his winning number combination based upon birthdates of family members.

The winner, who enjoys golfing in this spare time, said he hid the winning ticket in a kitchen cabinet to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Bridgeport. He added that he plans use his winning to take a vacation.

The first Michigan Rolldown drawing was held on February 28, 2000. Drawings are held six days a week – – Monday through Saturday – – at 7:28 p.m., and the cost to play is $1 per wager. Tickets are available at more than 7,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
