LANSING, September 25, 2002 –Linda Owens of Dundee was stunned to learn she was one of the three winners who matched all five numbers in the August 6 Michigan Rolldown drawing to win a $3,922 share of the jackpot. That day’s winning numbers were: 2, 12, 17, 18 and 19.
The total pool for the August 6 Michigan Rolldown drawing was $15,688, so each jackpot winner received $3,922, before taxes. In total for the August 6 drawing, 18,732 winners shared $55,877 in prizes. In addition to the jackpot winners, 116 winners matched four numbers to win a $55 prize; 2,171 winners matched three numbers to win an $8 prize; and 16,441 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.

at random, purchased the winning Rolldown ticket at Food Town #6040, 571 E Monroe St., in Dundee.
The winner said she discovered she had won when she saw the winning numbers on television Owens added that she was completely "shocked" to learn
she had won a jackpot prize!
The lucky lady, who said she has been playing Lottery games for the past 20 years, said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills.
The first Michigan Rolldown drawing was held on February 28, 2000. Drawings are held six days a week – – Monday through Saturday – – at 7:28 p.m., and the cost to play is $1 per wager. Tickets are available at more than 7,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
