LANSING, August 7, 2002 – A lucky West Olive woman found the road to instant wealth upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Money Path" instant ticket worth $25,000!
The winning ticket was purchased at Northside Liquor Center, 501 N. Butternut Dr., in Holland.
"When I scratched off the ticket and saw that I had the correct number combination to win a $25,000 prize, I was very happy!" the lucky winner said.
The 57-year-old retiree, who requested anonymity, said she kept the winning ticket locked in a safe at all times before turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Wyoming. Though the lucky lady has no specific plans for her winnings at this time, there is no doubt she and her husband will enjoy their recent Lottery luck!
"Money Path" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
