LANSING, July 2, 2002 – A lucky Shelby Township woman followed the road to instant wealth upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Money Path" instant ticket worth $25,000!

The winning ticket was purchased at 15 Mile & Van Dyke Amoco, 8100 15 Mile Road, in Sterling Heights.

"Wow!" the lucky lady said. "That’s the only word I could say when I realized I had won $25,000!"

The lucky 44-year-old, who requested anonymity, said she plans to use her winnings to pay bills. She added that she enjoys cooking in her free time, and that she kept the ticket hidden in her home at all times to ensure its safety before turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights.
