LANSING, April 23, 2002 – Pooling your resources with other Lottery players pays off, as one Lottery club recently learned! The Double Deuce Lottery Club of Canton purchased a Big Game ticket for the April 12 drawing—only the fourth time they have played the Big Game—and matched the first five numbers to win a $150,000 prize! The winning numbers for the April 12 drawing were: 6, 13, 14, 17, 41 and the Big Money Ball number was 6.
The winning "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Cracker Barrel Party Center, 41741 Ford Road, in Canton.
There are 22 members in the Double Deuce Lottery Club, who reside in cities throughout southeast Michigan, each of which will receive $6,818, before taxes:

Some of Double Deuce’s members, who work at Yazaki North America in Canton, have already made plans for their winnings—including purchasing a new motorcycle, paying off student loans, buying a sprinkler system and one gentleman joked, "Giving it to my wife!"
Club representative Cheryl Cochran said she kept the winning ticket locked in a safe before turning it in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing. She added that the Double Deuce Club has only existed for four weeks—and this is the fourth time they have played the Big Game! The members of the Double Deuce Club would also like to wish other Lottery players the best of luck when playing Michigan Lottery games.
The Big Game is a multistate lottery game in Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 7,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
Big Game drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. The next Big Game drawing is tonight, Tuesday, April 23, with an estimated jackpot of $7 million.
