LANSING, March 14, 2002 – A lucky Swartz Creek man scratched his way to instant wealth when he won a $10,000 prize in the Lottery’s "Lifetime of Cash" instant game.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer #44, 2474 W. Hill Road, in Flint.

The 57-year-old retiree, who requested anonymity, was at home when he scratched off his winning ticket.

"It’s very exciting to win such a large prize," the winner said. He added that he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.

"Lifetime of Cash" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
