LANSING, March 11, 2002 – A lucky Fair Haven man recently won a $30,000 top prize upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Wild Time Doubler" instant ticket!

The winning "Wild Time Doubler" ticket was purchased at Titanic Market, 21300 Hall Road, in Clinton Township.

The lucky 40-year-old, who works as a welder and fitter, purchased the ticket while on his lunch break and scratched it off before returning to work. He told Lottery officials that he kept the winning ticket in his wallet, which he kept safely in his pocket, until he claimed his prize at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights. The lucky man plans to apply his winnings toward the purchase of a house.

The winner added that he has only been playing Michigan Lottery instant games for the past two months!
