LANSING, October 17, 2000 — The Michigan Lottery is searching for winners!
Michigan Lottery players from all across the state are missing out on over $2.2 million in Michigan Lottery winnings as nine top prizes wait to be claimed. The prizes range in value from $100,000 to $1,039,242.
“If you have a stash of old Lottery tickets somewhere in your house, office or car, I urge you to dig them out to see if any of them are from the same drawings as any of these unclaimed tickets,” said Michigan Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer. “This prize money could be put to good use by one lucky individual during the upcoming holiday season. It would be a shame to see these great prizes go unclaimed!”
If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. In the case of a Big Game prize, in which all Big Game states have contributed to funding the prize, Michigan
