LANSING, October 13, 2000 — David Melbourne of Port Huron recently experienced a bit of Lottery luck when he scratched off a Michigan Lottery “Millionaire Party” instant ticket to reveal he had won a $10,000 prize!

The winner, who enjoys listening to music in his free time, purchased the winning ticket at Total 8824, 2318 Oak St., in Port Huron.

“I scratched off the ticket and realized right away that I had won a $10,000 prize,” Melbourne said. “I was so excited!”

The Port Huron man, who works at Waltech Forgings, said he enjoys playing Michigan Lottery games, adding that the instant games are his favorites.
