"If you think you may have purchased a Big Game ticket at one of these retailers around this time last year, I strongly urge you to look through any old Lottery tickets you have," said Michigan Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer. "It would be a huge shame to see these prizes go unclaimed!"

Michigan Lottery players have one year from the draw date to claim an on-line prize. The one-year anniversary date of the July 2 Big Game ticket falls on a Sunday when Lottery offices are closed, so that ticket holder will have until the close of business on Monday, July 3 to claim the prize.  The owner of the July 13 Big Game ticket, on the other hand, will have until the close of business on Thursday, July 13 to claim his or her prize.

If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. In the case of a Big Game prize, in which all Big Game states have contributed to funding the prize, Michigan’s allocated share of the prize money will be transferred to the School Aid Fund.

For more information about any unclaimed Michigan Lottery prize, players can call (517) 335-5640.
