LANSING, February 18, 2000 — A Dearborn man recently discovered what it feels like to have a truly lucky day after scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Bingo Mania" ticket to learn he had won a $10,000 prize!

The 49-year-old winner purchased the lucky ticket at Schaefer Warren Mobil, 13551 W. Warren Avenue, in Dearborn. Whitecraft could hardly believe his eyes when he saw what he had won.

"I bought five tickets that day at the Mobil station, but never expected I would win $10,000," Whitecraft said.

The manager at Dearborn Rental Center said he has been playing Lottery games for the past 27 years and truly enjoys the wide variety of games offered.

Whitecraft, an avid hunter and car racing fan, said he has not yet decided what he will do with his winnings.
