LANSING, May 25, 1999 – Helen Wolvin of Deckerville found herself jumping for joy after winning the $20,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s "Ten Times the Money" instant game!
"I bought the ticket and scratched it off right away," Wolvin said. "I was so happy that I had won – I started jumping up and down!"
The 47-year-old winner has been playing Michigan Lottery instant games regularly for the past two years. She purchased the winning ticket at Streamline Bar, 1934 Lapeer Ave., in Port Huron.
Wolvin, a housewife and avid bingo player, said she plans to use her winnings to purchase a new car.
"Ten Times The Money" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,300 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
