LANSING, May 6, 1999 – The word "bingo" means big bucks to Sherrie Loop of Hazel Park.  She uncovered the right letter-and-number combination on a Michigan Lottery "Classic Bingo" instant ticket and won the game’s $22,000 prize!

"I must have gone over the ticket 12 times before I could believe that I had won," the lucky lady said.

The 23-year-old winner bought the winning ticket at Morgantes Market, 638 W. 9 Mile Road, in Hazel Park.  Prior to turning the ticket in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights, Loop said she kept it in her pocket at all times!

The Hazel Park woman said she is a regular Lottery player who only tries her luck with the instant games.  Loop added that she doesn’t have any special plans for her winnings at this time.
