LANSING, March 4, 1999 – James Pace of Muskegon Heights went wild when he found out that he had won the $30,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s "Wild Time" instant game!
The laborer at CWC Textron purchased the winning ticket at Wesco #49, 1675 E. Apple Ave., in Muskegon.
"I scratched off the ticket and just looked at it for a long time," Pace said. "I had to let it sink in for a couple of minutes before I believed I had really won – then I called everyone I know! I am so happy!"
Prior to turning the winning ticket in at the Lottery’s regional office in Wyoming, Pace kept the ticket in his pocket at all times. The avid fisherman and photographer said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
"Wild Time" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,300 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
