Clinton Township Resident Wins $250,000 Top Prize In Lottery's "High Roller" Instant Game!

LANSING, November 2, 1998 – A Clinton Township woman is now rolling in dough after winning the $250,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s "High Roller" instant game!

The 57-year-old winner, who requested anonymity, said she has been playing the Lottery’s instant and daily games regularly for the past three years.  Her daughter was with her when she discovered that she had won, so they were able to celebrate together.

"When I scratched off the ticket I knew it was a winner right away, but I couldn’t believe I had actually won that much money," she said.  "I hugged my daughter immediately and started jumping up and down with her!  I had to keep looking at the ticket to convince myself that I had won!"

The winner purchased the lucky ticket at Dockside Party Mart, 24720 Harper Ave., in St. Clair Shores.  She said she plans to share her winnings with her children and grandchildren, take her whole family on a trip to Florida this December and save the rest.

Michigan Lottery instant tickets are available at more than 9,300 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
