Michigan Lottery's $100,000 Cash 5 Ticket Set To Expire Thursday, December 11

LANSING, December 5, 1997 – Just in time for the holiday season, one lucky Michigan Lottery player could be $100,000 richer – but only if the winning ticket is turned in before the expiration deadline less than a week away!

Somewhere in Michigan, a player matched all five winning numbers in the December 11, 1996, drawing, but the winner has yet to come forward.  Here are the ticket details:

Draw Date: December 11, 1996
Winning Numbers: 14, 20, 26, 27 and 34
Prize: $100,000
Selling Retailer: Nevada Supermarket 2510 E. Nevada St., in Detroit

Winners have one year from the draw date to claim Michigan Lottery prizes.  To claim this Cash 5 prize, the winner will have until the close of business Thursday, December 11.

"We always want our winners to claim a prize that is rightfully theirs, and we really hope to get a call this week from the ticketholder," said Michigan Lottery Commissioner Bill Martin.  "Especially at this time of the year, I’d love to give away $100,000. What a terrific holiday gift!"
