LANSING, November 25, 1997 – A Mount Clemens woman’s hunch paid off in a big way!

She’s the latest winner of The Big Game’s $150,000 prize for matching the first five numbers in the November 14 drawing! That day’s winning numbers were: 12, 16, 22, 24, 45, and the Big Money Ball number was 18.

"When I purchased my Big Game ticket, I just picked numbers that sounded good for that day," said Hale.  "I saw the numbers on WDIV-TV and then I checked my ticket.  First I started crying, and then I was in a state of euphoria!"

Hale, 52, said she will use part of her winnings to vacation, possibly in the Bahamas and Hawaii.

A regular Michigan Lottery player for the last year, Hale purchased the winning Big Game ticket at Stop and Go Inc., 201 Groesbeck, in Mount Clemens.

The Big Game offers nine ways to win cash prizes.  Players pay $1 for each play, and choose five numbers from 1 to 50, as well as one additional number from 1 to 25.
