LANSING, August 21, 1997 – "Two for the Money" is the game of choice for two West Michigan residents – each collected the $22,222 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s new instant game!
Daniel Vasquez of Wyoming found out he was a lucky winner after purchasing his ticket at Coctailz, 1001 Chicago Drive SW, in Wyoming.
The 62-year-old winner has been a regular Michigan Lottery player for five years.
A custodian at Amway Corp., the winner said he’ll use his winnings to pay bills.
A 48-year-old Montague man was the area’s other big winner. The winner, who requested anonymity, is a production manager at Greatland Corp.
An avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening, the winner said he’ll use his prize money to purchase a travel trailer and pay bills.
The winning "Two for the Money" ticket was purchased at Jack’s Corner Store, 4190 Grand Haven Road, in Muskegon.
Clad in bold colors of maroon, purple and gold, "Two for the Money" offers two "games" on each ticket. A bonus box gives players two more chances to win in either game area. Prizes range from $2 all the way to the top prize of $22,222.
